Top tips for Topbar

If you add content to "Appearance > Top and Bottom > Topbar", this content will be displayed at the top of your online shop on all pages. Therefore, it's important that the content is simple, condensed and concise.

The classic top bar contains 2-3 important selling points such as "Free shipping on purchases over £50" and "Contact us on 12345678".

- We recommend putting these types of selling points in the section called "Unique selling points" or "Columns".

- Don't use the "Headline" field in your top bar sections

- Don't add buttons to your top bar sections

- Set the section's advanced settings to show 3 USPs/Columns

Regardless of the content and type of your top bar, it can easily take up a lot of space on small screens. So you may want to consider hiding it on the smallest screens, while still displaying it on larger screens.

You can do this by searching for 'screen' and adding the 'Sections display on different screen sizes' tool.

Once this is done, you can hide sections on different screen sizes. See below how it works.
