SSL

All ideal.shop webshops automatically use SSL connections. This means that your webshop is located on a https:// address, and that the connection is therefore encrypted between the customer and the webshop. The same applies to the administration where you manage your webshop.

SSL is included in all webshops (with or without subscription) and is free of charge.

Certifications

ideal.shop is certified by e-mærket and Tryghedsmærket, which means that we have undergone a verification and validation of owner information and are continuously subject to control of our website, terms of trade, etc.

Furthermore, the e-mark and the Security Mark provide legal savings and assistance as well as help in any complaints and compensation cases.

Back-up

ideal.shop uses several backup systems that can be mobilised in case of a breakdown or hardware failure.

All data is mirrored to a live backup, which is located in a different physical location than the primary servers.

Every night, a full backup of all data is also created and stored in a different physical location.

These systems run in the background and will (hopefully) never be used. But if they do, it will happen as soon as possible, and probably without you noticing.

It is also possible for shop owners to retrieve a complete extract of items, orders, customers and subscriptions whenever they want.

Personal data protection

ideal.shop uses a data processing agreement in our agreement with the customer (you). This agreement commits ideal shop ApS to a wide range of measures regarding the protection of personal data.

Examples of obligations:

• Strict control of internal access to data
• No access to data from third parties
• Duty of disclosure in case of security breaches
• No physical storage of data outside the EU
• Deletion of data at the end of the agreement

The agreement is part of our terms and conditions, and therefore covers all webshops created under ideal.shop.
