Image and text side by side - tips for attractive and responsive design

It can be challenging to display an image and text side by side. This is because elements placed next to each other look very different on large and small screens.

Several of the section types in ideal.shop can display both image and text. But if you want full control, you should use the tool Section display on different screen sizes.

This tool gives you many options to set the appearance of your sections, based on different screen sizes.

Below you can see how a text section with image is turned into two sections, resulting in an attractive, responsive presentation of both text and image.

1. Make sure you have two text sections added in the admin area. One text section should contain your text, and the other should contain your image (in the text area).
2. Both sections should be set to occupy 50% of the width on large screens. Or 40%/60% if the image becomes too large.
3. Remember to test how it looks on different screen sizes. You can do this both on your computer (by using Design editing) or simply by opening the page on your phone, tablet, etc.
