VOEC (export to Norway) and Dinero

Dinero cannot be used to handle other countries' VAT. It is also not possible to transfer documents from ideal.shop to Dinero, where the VOEC scheme is automatically taken into account.

If you are VOEC-registered and thus sell goods to Norway with Norwegian VAT, you can handle it in Dinero (manually) as follows:

In Dinero, create an account for the Norwegian VAT under Short-term debt.

Next, the invoice must be booked as a financial voucher in Dinero.

Example, sales to Norway NOK 1000 incl. Norwegian VAT

Line:
Account: VAT-free sales abroad (NOTE! VAT code must be suppressed)
Amount: -800 kr
Counter account: blank

Line:
Account: The account created under short-term debt
Amount: -200 kr
Offsetting account: blank

Line:
Account: Ex. 55000 Bank
Amount: +1000 kr
Counter account: Blank

If you have general questions about selling to Norway and/or Sweden, Shipmondo has written a great guide and overview of what you need to be aware of.
