Invalid characters in feed

A product/item feed cannot handle all types of characters that exist. Therefore, you may find that your feed displays a short error message instead of a list of item data.

These special characters that can cause problems typically occur when you copy and paste text from other sources (word documents, other websites, etc.) into an item text.

Below is an example of a special character that can cause problems. Delete the character as normal when you want to delete a regular letter and then save the item.



It is possible that your browser does not display special characters as above. If this is the case, try displaying the HTML version of the text and see if the special character is visible.

If you're still having trouble finding the problem, you can remove the formatting of the text and see if that helps. Finally, try removing the entire text (temporarily) to see if the problem is in the text field at all.
