Transfer of website/web shop

Transferring a website to a new owner is easy. Here's a list of things you should do and a list of external things you should be aware of.

Master data on the website Go to "Settings » Website/webshop » Master data" to update the owner information.

This will update master data everywhere on your website where master data is automatically displayed.

Note that you may have manually entered contact details or address elsewhere on your website. If so, you will need to manually update these places.
Login details for administration Go to "Account » User administration" to update or add new users.

Here you can change your own user or add a new user to be able to log in to the administration.
Payment card (subscription payment) Go to "Account" in the administration to add a new payment card.
External: domain To transfer a domain to a new owner, you need to contact your registrar.

For Danish domains, this is Punktum Dk. Log in to your account at Punktum Dk to transfer ownership of your .dk domains.

A transfer will not affect the availability of your website.
External: payment solution If your webshop has a new owner, it will probably mean that a new acquirer agreement will need to be made for your webshop.

Contact your current acquirer if you are unsure.

When the new owner of the webshop has a new or old acquirer agreement ready, it can be added to the webshop under "Settings » Payment methods".
External: various plugins and services If you use external services such as Google Workspace, Mailchimp, Dinero, Shipmondo etc. you should ensure that these are transferred or replaced. Contact the relevant services directly if you are unsure about the process.
