Fake / invalid / scam orders from robots

Most online shops experience receiving orders made by scam robots. This is not uncommon, nor is it dangerous or a sign that there are security holes in your system.

They are simply bots looking for security holes or data that they can use to scam you or others.

These types of orders typically have customer data that is invalid, incomplete or doesn't look natural at all. And the payment will not be completed.

You should simply delete these orders. There's no need or reason to do anything more.

If you're unsure if an order is genuine, try contacting the customer to confirm that they actually placed the order.
