Do you want to sell an item that can only be delivered in the future?

You can sell an item in your online shop and ship it in the future. However, please note that you can only withdraw the money from the customer when you dispatch the item.

As a service to the customer, you should make it very clear when you expect to dispatch the item. You can do this in the title or description of the item.

When your customer pays by credit card, the amount is reserved in the customer's bank account. This reservation is only valid (guaranteed) for 2-6 weeks depending on the card issuer and bank. So make sure to finalise the order and withdraw the money when you ship the item to ensure the payment goes through.
