Klaviyo integration in detail
The integration with Klaviyo makes it possible to transfer customer and order data as well as recipients of your inbuilt newsletter in the webshop.
The inbuilt newsletter in your online shop
You have the option to activate/use a built-in newsletter function in the webshop. You can do this by searching for "newsletter" and activate the collection of recipients in the webshop's bottom menu or in the basket.Once the Klaviyo integration is set up, any new subscriptions to your inbuilt newsletter in the webshop will be transferred to Klaviyo. Unsubscriptions will also be transferred.
Transfer of customer and order data
You can set the integration to automatically transfer your online shop's order and customer data. It is recommended to enable this option if you want to use advanced targeting in Klaviyo.Visitor measurement
Once the integration is set up, your online shop will automatically activate Klaviyo's "JavaScript Track API" (when marketing cookies are accepted). This means that visitors to your online store can be "tracked" by Klaviyo automatically. It measures which items your visitors are looking at, which ones they put in their basket and whether a checkout/buying process is initiated. The measurement takes place when Klaviyo recognises the visitor, for example, if an email address has been entered during the purchase process or if the visitor has followed a link from a message sent through Klaviyo.Transfer products
If you want to transfer your products to Klaviyo, log in and then go to https://www.klaviyo.com/catalog/sources (the link is hidden and cannot be found in the Klaviyo login area). On that page, add your "Klaviyo product feed".
Once that's done, write to succes@klaviyo.com and ask them to approve your custom catalogue feed.
Klaviyo does not support multiple price fields such as special offer prices. If you want to save your sale prices as item prices in Klaviyo, you can do so by mapping the 'sale_price' field to 'price'. This requires you to map the 'price' field to something else, for example 'inventory_policy'.
