Structured Data, Microdata, Rich Text, Rich Snippets and Schema.org

Structured data, rich text and microdata is a generic term for information that is "implemented" via hidden codes in the webshop.

The information is structured in a certain way to make it easier for robots to read. The information can be, for example, a product's name, price, description and customer reviews.

We use several different formats/structures to display data in the webshop, including OpenGraph and Schema.org. This means, for example, that customer reviews (if you use that feature) will be included in the structured data of your products and that Google can display ratings (stars) next to your search results.

See and set which data you want to use under "Settings > Search engine optimisation (SEO) > Structured data".

GTIN, MPN, SKU

If you experience warnings that a field is missing from your item data (typically GTIN, MPN or SKU), it could be because you have not filled in this information on your items. Search for the field you want to use and you can add the field to your item edit and fill it in. Please note that these fields are optional.

google_product_category

If you get warnings that this field is missing, search for it in the administration. There you can add the setting option for both product categories and products.

Facebook catalogue / items

Facebook may be able to import your item data via Pixel and Microdata. But we recommend using a feed instead.
