Dinero - how to set up and use the integration


Transfer your webshop orders to Dinero, either automatically or by selecting the orders you want to transfer.

Set up the integration First you need Dinero Pro, the paid subscription to Dinero. Once you are logged in to Dinero, click on "Integrations" in the left menu and create a new API key.

The company ID can be seen in the bottom left corner when you are logged in to Dinero.

Now you can go to "Settings > Integrations > Accounting methods" in your webshop administration and set up Dinero in your webshop.

How does it work? Your orders can now be transferred to Dinero. Either by pressing the function button next to your order or by setting the integration to transfer automatically.

When an order is transferred to Dinero, it can be found under "Sales". If you have trouble finding the transferred order, try searching for the order number in Dinero.




Frequently asked questions


Why is there a difference between the voucher number in my webshop and in Dinero? It is a misconception that voucher numbers must be the same in two systems. It is not a requirement and it is very difficult to achieve. You should choose which system you want to use to send invoices to customers and which system you want to use for your accounting. And then stick to it, so that there are no situations where a customer receives the same invoice from both systems (with different invoice numbers).

The order number from the shop will always be added to your invoice in Dinero as a header and as a comment.
Keep the same invoice number (not recommended) If you set the integration to lock your voucher number and you transfer completed orders, the system will try to create the same invoice number in Dinero as the voucher has in the online shop. If the invoice number is already in use in your Dinero account, the system will report an error and any automatic transfer will be stopped until the issue is resolved.
Should I send an invoice to the customer from my webshop or from Dinero? It's entirely up to you. However, we recommend sending invoices from your webshop, unless you want to use specific options that are only available in Dinero. Using the invoice system in your webshop to send to your customers makes order processing easier and faster.
Can Dinero handle international sales? Yes, Dinero can handle foreign currencies and individual VAT rates.
