Add Messenger chat to your online shop
Facebook has made it (relatively) easy to add a chat function to your online shop. All you need is a Facebook page.
1. Open your Facebook page, go to Settings and then Messages
2. Go to "Add Messenger to your website"
3. Follow the wizard and be sure to enter the full address of your online shop in step 3.
4. Copy the code by clicking on the code box and then click Save/Complete
5. In the administration search for "javascript" and go to "Insert own HTML/CSS/JS code". There you can paste the code in the <head> field for functional cookies (or a <head> field that fits the cookie acceptance you want to have obtained from the visitor)
Note: you should paste the code in the field used when functional cookies are accepted. Alternatively, you can paste the code in the top <head> field while testing if you experience problems.
Also note that all kinds of external plugins like this can negatively affect the "PageSpeed" score and similar ratings of your online shop's speed.
