Sub-shops / shop-in-shop / mini-shops

It is possible to create sub-shops / mini-shops in ideal.shop. They can for example be used for:

  • Company clothing / printing
Give your customers a mini-shop where their employees can log in and buy company clothing or order garments with printing.
  • Employee shops (company gifts)
Many larger companies let their employees buy/choose items, for example a Christmas gift each year. With ideal.shop it is possible to create a sub-shop for each company, where the company's employees can choose the item(s) you add.
  • Sportswear / sports clubs
Set up a mini-shop for each sports club you work with. Club members can then shop in the mini-shop among the items you have created specifically for that club.

How do you control access to sub-shops?

Each sub-shop will get a unique web address. Access to the sub-shop can be restrictive (requires login) or open (everyone can view products, but not prices).

Control over sales and customers can be handled in two different ways:

1. Distribute discount codes to the company's employees. This requires manual work, but it provides the greatest control. Suitable for e.g. employee gift allocations.

2. Use multi-login and a direct login link (configured where you create the customer group) for branded merchandise shops. For example, sports clubs. Here outsiders could potentially "misuse" a link if someone shares it with a friend. However, the need for high security is low, since all customers must pay the price you set on the product.

Getting started

Setting up sub-shops / mini-shops uses several different tools in the ideal.shop platform, especially the B2B/customer group tools.

Setting up sub-shops can be extensive, especially the first time. Therefore, it is recommended to contact us so we can help you get started with the first sub-shops.
