Why can't I be found on Google?
There can be many reasons why people can't find your website/web shop on Google. Below we go through some of the reasons and what you can do about it.
Is your website less than a month old?
It usually takes 1-4 weeks for Google to recognise and link to a brand new website.If you want to speed up the process, you need to make sure your website is recognised and visited.
In other words, you need to make sure that other websites link to you. And you need to make sure that someone is looking at it.
When this happens, Google will be more likely to visit you and include your website in their search engine.
Do you have enough text on your website?
If your front page only consists of images and 1-2 sentences of text, it's very difficult for Google to make your website searchable.Make sure to include a lot of text on the pages you want to be found on Google. The text helps Google know what your website is about and when it should be searchable.
Is your link drowning in Google among other results?
Maybe your website is already in Google. But other websites are showing up before yours.Try searching Google for "site:yourdomain.dk" and see what comes up.
If links to your website appear, Google has already included you in their search engine.
