Create games / gamification


Games/gamification are an effective way to drive more conversions and leads in your online shop.

Find the option under "Appearance » Upsell/Campaigns » Games".

With this feature, you can create games and let your visitors "try their luck". The games can be set to pop up in a popup or you can add them to your pages.

Wheel of Fortune

When creating a wheel of fortune game, you must add at least 3 fields to the wheel of fortune. Each field MUST have a probability (0-100) and a discount code.

If a field is used as "No win" or "NONE" you can set the discount code to something random (doesn't have to be a valid discount code). Remember to set the probability to 0.

You should not create no-win fields that you can "win". It should only be possible to land on a field that triggers a valid discount code.

Security and cheating

Please note that cheating is easy with this type of game. You should not "raffle" anything that creates a loss for you.

The system will keep track of whether a visitor refreshes the page to play again (the person will get the same result every time). The system also ensures that the same email address can only receive one discount code.

However, it IS possible to cheat by creating different free email addresses and using different devices/browsers to play with.

After a game is created, add it to a page or popup.
